In one of the all-time classics, Rocky 3, Apollo Creed starts training Rocky ( Sylvester Stallone) after his long-time trainer, Mickey, dies. Rocky is clearly in a funk as as he struggles to move past the passing of his long time friend, coach, and mentor. In a scene that typifies the struggle that Rocky is having to embrace his new training regiment with Apollo Creed, he tells Apollo Creed, “Tomorrow, Let’s do  it tomorrow.” In which Creed responds, “THERE IS NO TOMORROW, THERE IS NO TOMORROW!”

Sadly, a lot of us put off to tomorrow, what God wants us to do today. Why wait? The Bible says, that “Today is the day of salvation.” (2 Corinthians 6:2). And not to worry about tomorrow, for today has enough troubles of it’s own. (Matthew 6:34) What are you putting off that you should be doing right now? Is it a dream that you have had in your heart for years? A step in a direction that you feel like God is calling you to take? What excuses do you need to get rid of? Seize the day! You will not get another  day like this. Look for opportunities to go further with God and achieve the impossible!
